All of us here at Mina’s Sanctuary would be honored to receive your support whether it is $5, $50, $500, $5,000 or more. To begin Our Dog Dream and have a healthy, safe home for the 60 current rescues and for those to come they are in need of $200,000 USD—and every dollar helps—so we ask you to please donate and SHARE their story. The money goes to purchasing land outside of Ensenada, Baja California and building proper play-pins, kennels, fencing and housing for all of our rescues. For proper medical equipment we are looking at raising at least $50,000 USD. These are the startup costs. Our Dog Dream's goal is not only to rescue strays in need but also rescue the dogs that are in kill shelters here in Northern Baja California; in Ensenada they are only allowed to live 72 hours before they are put down. This is unacceptable—please help us save the dogs! Many of the rescues have health issues making them less desirable for adoption. Guillermina's promise is that they will always have a home with her if the proper one is not found for the given dog to supply their medical needs. Together we can all make a difference and if you could take the time to write a personal message to all your dog human fans out there imagine how many we could all save together?! Let's help Our Dog Dream come true!
If we all donated just $5 USD and asked 10 of our friends to donate $5 USD and kept it going, imagine how many dogs we could save?! Please be part of our village to help us save the many.

The heart of the story must begin with Bodb Dearg. In 2004 I traveled to my home town Bahia de los Angeles for Christmas and a stray near home had a litter of puppies. When I went to see the dogs Bodby came running like a greyhound right to my arms from around the back of the house. I knew then and there he was magic. He forever will be the alpha of my pack whether here on Earth or in Heaven.
Suddhatman currently now the alpha since Bodb Dearg went onto doggie Heaven. Suddhatman loves kibble and running in the Ocean. He chose his middle name Kibble. Suddha was rescued with his Mom and 12 others from his litter in 2011.
They were about 1 week old when I rescued the litter from behind a mountain. They were all covered in lice and his Mom had lice and a fungus. I helped heal all of t
Popular guy with the ladies please meet Anubis. Anubis was living a few houses down from me in 2017. His owner would leave him abandoned for days at a time with a bucket full of water (he would tend to spill) and occasionally some food. As soon as I found out about this I would sneak late at night around 9 pm and go give him food in between the gate. This lasted for about a month.
One day I no
Christmas 2016 I walk outside just as this lovely little lady comes running up to me, like she knew she had to be with me wagging her tail. I always believed in Santa no matter my age. I know, I know, super silly right? Be it as it may I believe in 2016 he brought me Ch'omack.
At the time she was so skinny I could see most of her ribcage ridden with parasites, but I cleaned her up and gave her
Beautiful Lakshmi...hers is a rough story. I was headed to an OXXO store where I see a man sitting outside with in his arms a black plastic trash bag wrapping a dog and the little snout sticking outside. I immediately walk up to the guy and ask him about the dog.
He said the dog was a bad dog and he was waiting for the pound to come to pick up the dog and put it down. I asked what did the dog
Venus enjoys snuggles, chewing toys, stealing her brother Poseidon's toys, and laying on top of Mama and smothering her with kisses.
Venus arrived this February 2020 when COVID hit, she just showed up at my doorstep timid and scared. We searched for her owners but none came. She is more timid around men as having been likely abused, she had tapeworms and erchilia when she arrived.
She underwe

Ra is a lover of kibble, running fast, gets scared a little but talks a big game.
The story of Ra, I found him and his two brothers, one sister and Mom living out of a cardboard box the litter was about 2 days old. I took the entire family home with me, the family was covered in fleas and tapeworms. The mother had it so bad she was vomiting the worms but still kept trying to be a great Mom and t
Zeus, without a doubt the most photogenic of the bunch but has no idea he is so adorable. Zeus is the smallest of them all but packs a big punch. For some reason the half rott second to largest pup loves to play with him and lets just say he can definitely hold his own.
Zeus enjoys snuggling indoors and actually takes his time with his kibble like a good boy. Oh and be really careful if he can h
Wolf is one of a kind, he almost left our home 5 times while trying to find him the perfect home but each time came right back so we knew he was meant for the core pack.
Wolf's best friend is Anubis, there is no other pup he looks up to more. You know the phrase "follow like a puppy" that is Wolf with Anubis.
Wolf has a girlfriend even though he is fixed her name is Canela. He thinks she is the
Miss Bodby Dee our Queen, she is without a doubt the protector of the pack. Bodby is our only non-rescue she is trained to watch over the pack and her Mama.
Bodby is the most playful of all the pups and knows she is Queen of the pack. She enjoys: toys, all size sticks, water bottles, running in the Ocean and playing tag with Zeus.
Happy enjoys playing with his toy, chasing balls, giving Anubis a hard time and hanging with his best friend Suddha.
Happy was found in 2011 locked in a cupboard in a park at 3 months old, Bodb Dearg discovered him, he had been living off of chili cheetos and his own feces. He had really bad mange at the time. He went through a month of treatments then ended up being adopted by my Mom.
Sadly th
Poseidon enjoys snuggles, toys, going for rides and pretty ladies. He came to me in 2020 shortly after COVID hit. He was abandoned for days at a time so had problems with anxiety. He lived a couple blocks away, it was love at first sight. He was a really good escape artist so he would tend to run away to come find me. When his owner moved by that time she had put up barbed wire, it had been a
